XILICA SOLARO XIO 8 is a multi-channel Dante interface converter built on the 8-slot chassis of the XILICA SOLARO family. The model provides 4×4 channels for the Dante audio network and is equipped with eight slots for installing input/output modules. In addition to analog and digital audio modules, the chassis allows for the installation and configuration of GPIO and relay modules, enabling the transmission of not only audio data but also control signals over IP networks. Control is performed via the Xilica Designer software; signal processing is not available for XIO models, but the input and output modules can be configured according to their functionality, for example, phantom power control, sensitivity level adjustment, etc.
The device is housed in a compact 1RU high chassis and can be installed in a standard 19″ rack. The front panel is equipped with status indicators, a connector for an external power adapter, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and an RJ45 Dante port. The device supports PoE and can be powered directly from a PoE Ethernet switch.
