XILICA SOLARO XIO 16 is a multi-channel Dante interface converter built on the 16-slot XILICA SOLARO family chassis. The model provides 32×32 channels for the Dante audio network and is equipped with sixteen slots for installing input/output modules. In addition to analog and digital audio modules, the chassis allows for the installation and configuration of GPIO and relay modules, thereby enabling the transmission of not only audio data but also control signals over IP networks. Control is performed via the Xilica Designer software; signal processing is not available for XIO models, however, input and output modules can be configured according to their functionality, for example, phantom power control, sensitivity level adjustment, etc. are available.
The device is housed in a compact 1RU high enclosure and can be installed in a standard 19″ rack. The front panel is equipped with an OLED display and local control elements. The rear panel is equipped with an IEC power connector, a power switch, an RJ45 Ethernet connector, and two RJ45 Dante interface connectors.
