The Gefen GTB-USB2.0-4LR-BLK complete device is designed for transmitting USB 2.0 interface signals over a single Category 5e or 6 twisted pair cable over distances up to 100 meters. The bandwidth extender provides speeds up to 480 Mbps and supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 specifications. The receiver module is equipped with a 4-port USB hub module, which supports connecting peripheral devices with a current of up to 500 mA; a maximum of 14 devices, including hubs, can be connected. The front module reduces power consumption and can be powered via the USB interface or by an external power supply (EXT-PS54AULPN) with a threaded lock for a secure connection. The kit is compatible with Mac and PC platforms, supports Plug&Play, and features activity, power, and link status indicators. The housing is made of metal, color is black, dimensions are 146 x 63.5 x 31.7 mm.
