The Gefen GEF-DVI-FM1500 device set is designed for transmitting DVI-D Single Link signals over a single single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic patch cord with SC connectors. It supports resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) at 60 Hz, provides galvanic isolation and complete protection from electromagnetic interference. The system is equipped with an automatic EDID emulator and supports DVI 1.0 and DDC2B via virtual DDC, ensuring correct operation with the source and display. The transmitter module is powered by the signal source or an external power supply. The housings are compact and made of durable metal.
