The Gefen EXT-USB2.0-SR device set enables the transmission of USB 2.0 signals over a single Category 5e or better twisted pair cable for distances up to 50 meters. It supports speeds up to 480 Mbps, is compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0, and works with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems without the need for driver installation. The receiver is equipped with a Type A USB port with an output current of up to 2 A for powering connected devices and supports the connection of active USB hubs. It is ideally suited for remote connection of peripherals: printers, scanners, webcams, and other USB devices.
