The Gefen EXT-UHDKA-LANS-TX signal transmitter enables the transmission of HDMI 4K/60 (4:2:0), USB, RS-232, audio, and infrared (IR) signals over a standard 1000BaseT Ethernet local area network using CAT5e/6 twisted pair cable over distances of up to 100 meters. The device features a loop-through HDMI output, supports HDR, HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, and Deep Color technologies, and provides transmission of multi-channel audio up to 7.1 channels, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Control is possible via the built-in web interface, Telnet, and UDP, and power can be supplied via PoE or from an external 5 V power adapter. The transmitter is compatible with the Gefen “virtual matrix” system, allowing for the integration of up to 65,000 transmitters and receivers.
