The Gefen EXT-UHD-LANS-TX transmitter is designed for transmitting HDMI 4K/60 (4:2:0), RS-232, audio, and infrared (IR) control signals over a Gigabit Ethernet network (1000BaseT) using standard Category 5e, 6 cables. It supports HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, HDR, Deep Color, and multichannel audio LPCM up to 7.1, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio. The device features a loop-through HDMI output for local source monitoring, a built-in scaler, an audio de-embedder with analog and digital outputs, and management is performed via a built-in web interface, Telnet, UDP, and supports integration with Gefen Keyboard Switching Controller software. Power can be supplied via PoE or through an external power adapter.
