The Gefen EXT-DVIKA-HBT2 kit is designed for transmitting HDMI 2.0 signals with resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840×2160/60 at 4:2:0, 3840×2160/30 and 4096×2160/30 at 4:4:4) over CAT5e twisted pair cable with support for HDCP 1.4/2.2 and CEC. The device supports extended EDID management, USB signal transmission (4 USB 2.0 ports on the receiver), bidirectional RS-232, and stereo audio with selectable microphone or line-level signal. HDBaseT 2.0 technology with PoH allows the transmitter to be powered by the receiver over the twisted pair cable. Maximum transmission distance is 100 m for 4K and 150 m for 1080p. Control, configuration, and firmware updates are performed via Gefen Syner-G software. The kit can be mounted in a 19″ rack.
