The Gefen EXT-DIGAUD-141 kit is designed for transmitting S/PDIF digital audio signals over Category 5e twisted pair cable over distances of up to 100 meters. The transmitter is equipped with inputs for coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSLINK) range audio, and the receiver has corresponding outputs. The device supports Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS, and Dolby TrueHD surround sound formats with a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz and a bandwidth of 12.8 Mbps. The transmitter is powered by an external 5 V adapter, and the receiver is powered via the twisted pair cable. The kit provides reliable, lossless audio transmission.
A data transfer rate of 12.8 Mbps is supported.
Maximum power consumption is 5 W per power supply unit. Power is supplied by an external 5 V DC power source.
The device is Plug & Play and does not require complex configuration.
